Our company, Theut Products, Inc., has been producing lightweight and concrete block since 1937. It was in that year that Edwin P. Theut Sr. established Theut Products after accepting a concrete block making machine in lieu of payment from a builder. Using that tool, Edwin Sr. and his wife Josephine opened the first Theut Products location near the Van Dyke & 9 Mile area.

Throughout the years, our customer base continued to grow, and in 1954 Theut relocated to a bigger facility in Chesterfield after the purchase of a redi-mix transit plant.

In an effort to provide easier access to tools and materials, Theut Building Supply opened its doors in Marysville in 1972, and the business continued to grow from there. Three years later, in 1975, a block plant was established in Croswell.

By this point, Theut Products was becoming quite successful, and needed to grow still more. In 1976, this led to the purchase of the 14-acre administrative site and Production Facility in Romeo.

Today, Theut Products continues to grow and thrive. In 1994 Theut Building Supply was opened in Richmond, followed by the opening of Theut Masonry Supply in Kinde in 1994, and Theut Redi-Mix Supply in Marine City in 2001.

Current President Edwin C. Theut Jr. oversees the seven Theut Products locations, our fleet of transit mix trucks, and a full line of precast products. Working together on his team are Edwin's wife Elaine, who is the secretary/Treasurer, and their four children, all of whom are vice presidents within the successful masonry and concrete business. Edwin III is in charge of the Romeo location, Eric runs Chesterfield, Evan manages Marysville, and Elena runs the administrative office.

It's that unique family management structure and close working relationship with all Theut Products employees that has contributed to a strong foundation and continued success. Theut Product's is proud to offer everything the masonry and concrete industry needs, and is looking forward to the promise of a growing future
